315 Entertainment Group, a local production company, announced today that it had entered the pre-production financing stage for it's first feature film, "Power & Pride."

"We're excited to begin the process of taking our first project into active development," stated Jeff Evans, President of 315 Entertainment Group.  "We have a solid screenplay that we believe will attract financing and talent to make it a success."

"Power & Pride" was a 2008 semi-finalist in the Kairos competition for spiritually uplifting screenplays.  It tells the story of an ambitious politician who's all-consuming career is derailed by a series of events that force him to confront who he is and what he's become, or risk losing everything.

"If all goes according to plan Power & Pride will shoot this spring and summer in the Sacramento area," added Evans.

Founded with the goal of bringing inspiration, faith-based and family-friendly films to the big screen, 315 Entertainment Group has an active slate of projects in various stages of development.
